Wi-Fi 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz (Eco, w/demo file)

This is a very simple mission that sweeps 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz Wi-Fi by using the Spectran V6 Eco with the additional sweep license that extends it to 7.2 GHz.

Block Diagram

This mission will use the standard sweep zoom block, that will send spectra data to the Wrapped Spectrum block that will split the spectra to 3 sub-spans.

If you do not have a Spectran V6 Eco, use the file reader block and load the file and set it to contiguous, the file can be downloaded below.

(Optional) Callibration block

The calibration block ensures accurate measurements by compensating for the characteristics of antennas, RF limiters, and in-line attenuators. It provides a reference signal to adjust for signal losses, ensuring precise spectrum readings across all frequencies and eliminating measurement errors.

To use, simply add the calibration block from the Block menu, connect it to the RF Input on your Spectran V6, and attach any antennas you’re using.

The mission - V6 Eco

Since the Eco can sweep all the way to 7.2GHz we can now make a mission that covers 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz at the same time. Keep in mind that by using sub-spans the sweep will be a lot slower then for example using the 5+6GHz mission for Eco. But, it is pretty cool to see everything at once !

The mission only cover U-NII5, but you can just change the width inside the "Wrapped Spectrum" all the way to 7.2 GHz. So you US people can see it all at the same time !

This mission sweeps from 2400MHz to 7200MHz using the Eco version with the Wi-Fi6E license, it uses the "wrapped" spectrum block to split the frequency zoom into up to 3 sub-spans.

Simply load this file in the File Reader block, as seen in the block diagram above.
